my 2001 2.5rs was having prolems misfiring on cylinder 2 and 4. So i did the easy thing ngk iridiums and magnecor wires, my check engine light dissapeared for about 2-4 days and then reappeared setting misfires on all 4 cylinders, is my coil pack bad or are the horror stories about magnecor causing coil pack problems coming true, Id appreciate any help or feedback. Thanks, Derek.

Sound like the coil pack. That would pale in comparison if your head gaskets were gone and fouling the plugs.
could also be the magnecors .. they have a poor design and tend to slip off the spark plugs. try stock wires

Magnecors are just fine. If they ever slip you just get a pair on pliers and clamp them a bit. Adjustment no big deal. They are not a poor design.

thanks i will try the coil pack anyone know where i can get an aftermarket one? by the way my headgaskets were leaking i replaced them with metallic gaskets and then had a mis fire on cylinders 2 and 4 and i got ngks and magnecors added those and the light went away for a few days then came back with all cylinders misfiring i think its the coil, i need to get this fixed i have all parts for my turbo kit and am waiting to solve the misfire problem. thanks to everyone for your imput.

Maybe not poor, but wires sometimes coming off doesn't sound like a great design... You shouldn't ever have to crimp an ignition wire to get it to stay there.
I don't know, I haven't read great things about Magnecor, around here.
