Well my tires have alot of tread left. Hopefully one wont blow first turn into the drive. But on the other hand stupid big o tires put my tires on backwards so the tread is wearing all weird. Are you going to go on this drive brad? How long does the deer valley drive usually last. Its my bday and im having a family party sunday. take the kimball junction exit and head towards Park City... so pass The Canyons, and then you come ALMOST to Park City resort... if you hit it, go back a few blocks... There should be signs everywhere pointing you to deer valley. Ask Brandon(supersonic) for a map.

If you're coming from Salt Lake, Take I-80 East to Park City. Get off at the Park City/Kimball Junction exit, and turn right. Travel about 6 miles to Deer Valley Drive, you'll see Jans on your left, Cole Sport on your right. Turn left onto Deervalley drive, travel around the roundabout to turn right on Deer Valley drive. When the road forks, take the right fork, and I haven't met up with the crew before, but if you continue on that road, you'll run right into Deer Valley Resort

Ya, this is a little late... but it's what Eric posted for a past drive...

Where: Meeting at the Snow Park Lodge parking lot at the base of Deer Valley Resort in Park City

The Drive: Going to do the run from Kamas over Wolf Creek pass towards Tabiona (route 35).

How to get to Snow Park Lodge (also see link below for a good map):
- Take I-80 east to the Kimball Junction exit in Park City
- make a right turn off the highway towards downtown Park City
- around 6 miles up you'll reach a stoplight that has a Jans sports on the left, a Cole sports on the right, and a Olympics sign straight head. Make a LEFT at this light
- a little ways up, at the first light you see, make a right. This will take you towards downtown main street and Deer Valley
- about a mile or less up that road you'll come to a circular rotary (round-a-bout). You're wanting to go left towards Deer Valley, so you'll circle around to make the turn.
- Follow that road til it dead-ends at Snow Park lodge. There are several huge parking lots around there. Lets just meet in one of those. It should be empty, so finding a bunch of subies won't be hard. If you're the first to arrive, pick a spot.

Wow, what a great turnout! I'm sad I had to turn around, my car was bogging like hell. I would get past 1/2 throttle, and it would go SLOWER! It drove like a N/A car and kept flooding injectors, and I was losing boost like a maniac.

I checked, and the IC was coming loose. I re-set that and all the hoses that I could without taking the whole IC out, and it's back, baby! And so is that whine when I hit .0 that gets louder, and I still can't boost past .7 or .8 max.

Kirill, let's plan on Tues. I'll call you and we'll get together.

Cole, I would really like some help with the boost controller (not the mbc, the turboXS one that you were telling me about) when you have a chance.

Everyone else, the drive was a blast except for the fact that everyone (including the N/A car) was kicking my ass. I wish I would have checked my hoses before the drive, but maybe next time I'll be ready and running at 26 psi (kidding!).

i wish i could of made the drive. my clutch is going out and i dont think i would have been able to hang to long on the drive if i even made it up at all. Well maybe one day my car can run for a week with no problems but untill that happnes i just plan on having more problems. :mad:

No rain, but there were a few spots that were a little damp. Your 998 is freaking awesome and not that I've seen it in person but so is your Porsche!

shhhhh no one need to remember that...i took out my old bulbs(arctic purple) and put in my stock ones, and didnt bother to check and make sure that they worked...well one of the female peaces to the light wasnt on there all the way, so every time i gave it gas, taped the brakes, hit a bump, or just about anything it would start flickering...i felt like a dumb a$$, but people always got out of the way when i would get up on them...but i got home and pushed it in all the way, so now its as good as new!!!!


SO TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO BUY MY CAR>.....you know you would rather have a Subaru chasing you then a Mazda...and on the way down the canyon, you where HALLING MAJOR A$$...i was trying to keep up, but on the straights you would just keep on pullin, when i got into the corners i would catch up a little bit, but becoue you would get so far away from me on the straits i didnt even have a chance to catch up to you in the corners.....
