Anyone out there have Raybrig headlight bulbs in their WRX? How do you like them? Will they melt my housing and will they need any rewiring of some sort?

please do a search

any bulb that has any blue tinting on it is bad. also avoid bulbs that use a higher wattage.
if you want brighter lights in stock halogen headlights, i suggest these:

Osram Silver Star (not the US silverstars that are tinted blue)

i had friends that had raybrig bulbs and foglights on their cars and they are very nice quality and produce good lighting, Def not cheap stuff but like i said very nice stuff.

Yes, Raybrig = Expensive. PIAA = Expensive. Hella = Not Expensive but still exceptional quality, hence why Hella is usually one of the more popular choices. :)

i've done my research and the Raybrig Magnum Whites are supposed to produce a light similar to 4100 K. By looking at the pictures online, the bulb also looks clear (not tinted) so i'm guessing it should be good.

I have Raybrig Whitsonics. They are very similar in color and brightness to my brothers 2000 Honda S2000's HID's. I love them!

No they will not need rewiring or heavy duty harnesses. They draw same wattage.

I had magnum whites in my old civic. they were Nice too. but i like the whitesonics better. More of a warm color.

so the raybrig white sonics have a blue hue to them? how did you like the magnums compared to your white sonics? basically what i'm looking for is something that's primarily white, no yellow or dingy looking white but just bright white.. any suggestions would be great..

the three expensive brands are all exceptional quality...you just have to find which product of theirs is more for you....and by three i mean raybrig, piaa, and polarg....they all have bulbs that look good and function very well.

Whitesonics dont have any blue to them. If i remember correctly, the magnums had a hint of blue. Both bulbs were very bright. when it gets dark ill post a pic of the whitesonics.
