The OEM alarm on my 04 has been acting very bad as of late when it comes to the beeps. 75% of the time it doesn't beep when I go to unlock/lock. Sometimes I only get half the beep...like it doesnt have enough juice to complete the beep. I've check the battery and wiring and noticed nothing irregular.
