I had the EDM projectors a while back and since then and converted back to the original head lights due to problems with the projectors. I had used the H1 harness to convert from 9007 to H1 . AFter converting back to the original lamp both my 9007 harness burnt out. The part that was connected to the 9007 light was completed burn. I replace the female 9007 connector with one from Kragen. After using it for about 5 months the driver side also burnt out on me. Can anyone offer suggestion of what could have caused the problem and what it is happening..

What bulbs are you using? If you have non-stock bulbs, particularly higher wattage ones, they will likely cause the harnesses and connectors to overheat and melt. Even some of the aftermarket bulbs that claim to be 55W will actually run hot and cause damage.

Instead of the sylvania silverstar, I'd get the xtravision. Some Kragen stores sell them as a pair (@ ~US$17) instead of individual units (@ 2 x ~US$14). They're regular wattage afaik, so no problems with harness overheating.
