Ok well i have to get a new second gear. I was just doing normal non wat run driving. THe light turns green so i go, i shift into second and i hear some weird noises, cant really explain so i let of the clutch and to my suprise i have no second gear. So im debating on either getting ra gears, or getting a sti tranny, but my question is how much would a used sti tranny cost and how much to install?

is subaru the cheapest place to get the gears installed?

i belive that its about the same everywhere...you might have to pay an extra $50, but subaru will do it right the 1st time...and considering it cost like $800 to get it put in, $50 for insurance/to make sure they do it correct isnt all that bad of a price.
