Hi all. I'm looking into using the Wolf 3D system, but after reading through the manual I'm left to wonder how it handles boost control (on a turbo RS). Do you have to get a boost controller that is external to the system, set it and create the ignition maps and fuel maps around that boost setting?

I.e. if I want to run 5 psi one day, I set my boost controller to 5 psi, and then program my Wolf maps accordingly.

If I want to run 10 psi another day, I have to reconfigure everything??

Is there anyway to set boost taper with this setup? Ie. Run low boost in low gears or run high boost at low RPM that tapers down as RPM rise?

Thanks.

Boeleni - yes that's basically the "jist" of it or I believe there could be a boost reference module available for the Wolf 3D.

You may want to ask Byron @ B-Spec about this.. I think that's what he has in his Impreza

Boeleni- no no reconfiguration is needed because the 10psi is a different load band on the ecu, so if you tune the ecu up to 10 psi (actually you should be tuning it to 12 since that is 100% load on the middle setting (0,12,28?) Tune it then you can turn the boost down for daily driving, it will then only see that much % of the 12psi load (5/12= 41.6%)
The wolf doesn't control boost so a boost controller is needed.
