I have a track day coming up and just bought new 225/45/17 Azenis tires for the event. I have a stock suspension. I currently have 37psi in the front and 34 psi in the rear. I am thinking of dropping it to 34f/32r. I have never used these tires before. Any recommendations for the pressures?

I run 48F 44R for autox. Never had them at a track day.

Why would you drop them?

I used to run a little higher on my track car. But it was an rx7 so its kinda different than this....

I will shut up now....

I guess I am just not used to seeing pressures that high. I come from the muscle car, low pressure wrinkle wall tire crowd. This is my 1st import car and my 1st track day.

I would run them high then adjust down as necessary. It's always easier to let air out then put air in.

Track as in 1/4 mile ???
If so, you should order a new transmission now and avoid delay when you break it.
