Its time to change the airfilter on the turbo and I'm wondering which ones you guys recommend. I was thinking of getting the one rallispec advertises, but I'm not sure which is the best one. Please throw out suggestions, experiences, prices, links, etc of some filters.

Thanks
Andrew

I have some generic cone filters for about $30 but you likely have one and are looking for better. I sell PRM Racing filters which allow you to duct cold air from the inner fender into the turbo. See www.imprezars.com/product2.htm#prmfilter for more info.

They flow about 50% more air than the TB can, at about 650cfm and are the best you can buy, at a price. $139.95 + S&H.

Take care,

Larry

Pipercross is a good brand.

Personally, I'd go with Blitz.

But its basically just a matter of taste, what you like for brands, and the actual looks of the filter, because most filters these days perform the same.

As far as I know, the Apex'i filter is the best in a test I saw online. Was a shootout of the most popular Japanese filters.

If you want to be cool, see if you can get your hands on the NEWEST filter from HKS. They copied Blitz and used stainless steel. Looks nice, but I'll keep my Blitz. :p
