Hi gang..
Jeff from the UBC Sport Car Club just confirmed to me tonight that they have another open club event next Sunday, the 1st of July at Boundary Bay, and all I-Club members are welcome to come and race.
For those that have run the UBC events before, numbers of entries are not nearly as large as Regional events, so that means lots of runs for your dollar !!
And you don't have to join any club to run, like the BCMA Novice series...so you can just show up and run to your heart's content !!! :D
Usual time, 8:00 tech and registration opens, and cost is $30 including day license.
I recommend all novice and virgin auto-x people to come out to this non-championship, low key event to get lot's of track time, and to get help from many senior driver's who are out to practice, and lend a hand.
Also, I-Club exec. may want to speak to UBCSCC about helping out to learn the "ropes" as to Auto-X organization, if you want to eventually hold your own event out at Boundary Bay. :p
