Hey guys, I need (want) new rotors and I am looking for 2 piece aluminum top hat/floating rotors. The best prices I can find are between $800-$1000 for just the front two (cross & slot). Keep in mind that the selection for '05 is limited at the moment because of the new hub/bolt pattern.

My 3 question's:

Do you know of any 2 piece rotors for a better price?.

If yes can you post a link. Thank's in advance.

Is this the best/cost effective route for my to take? 1 piece oem type cross & slotted for $400 cad incl, shipping, I allready made sure they will send me '05. here's the link.

Thank you, Justin

P.s mods if I am breaking a rule by posting a link to a vendor just delete it.

Hey, that's look nice. I thought they said 239 for a set, not a piece. If it's 239 a set then i am getting them for sure, count me in. But make sure about the quality is good so it won't turn out you waste your money on them.

Yeah it says $239 us for front and rear plus 40 or 70 for shipping depending on the service you use. That price seems too good to be true I know but they have good feedback on ebay and respond quick.
With the current exchange rate the price shipped is $350 canadian.
They say in the website a group buy of 5 will bring the price down to $216 us per set plus shipping. That's $1600 canadian for all 5 set's shipped. I am just waiting for them to respond about 2 piece rotors maybe they have a good price on thoes also. I'll post if I get more info.

Count me in, i am definitly in the group buy if it is REALLY 250 a set. Just hope the rotors won't crank in a year or two. PM me if you are going for it, thanks!

So anyone with an '04 sti can get the rotors at this price but not the '05 yet. I guess I'll be looking for something else quick I can't stand to hear them grind anymore :furious: . Anyone else have their eye on a set of upgraded rotors, or any review's. I need something that won't warp so easily. Thank's Justin.

I got use to all the grinding and squeaking the car made already, just like part of my life.

So are you still going for those rotors on ebay or not?

Hehe nightrunner I don't think I described that right, it's not the normal squeak and grind from high performance shimless brakes but from having worn pads and warped rotors. And no I can't get thoes ebay rotors because they will only work on the '04 sti and I have a '05.

You have worn pad that soon already!
Damn, they are so nice and they don't have it for 05, shame on them!
