I am looking to buy an impreza outback sport and swap in a jdm engine (possibly an ej20t). I know that an ej series engine should fit right into the existing engine mounts, and that the biggest problem will probably be the wiring. If anyone has performed this or a similar swap and has any tips I would love some advice. I am unsure what the best engine would be and where would be the best place to acquire such an engine. Also, if anyone knows of a good subaru tech in the seattle area that would be able to perform the swap, that would be great as well. Please help me out, I have an itch for a nice little sleeper of a rally car that needs to be scratched.
