Is there such thing as universal exhaust silencer. I just have a exhaust installed today, and I love how it sounds. However, it is on the loud side for daily use. I am wondering if there is such thing as a universal silencer, coz I don't think there is one made for my exhaust...

On the bottom of the exhaust, is there a small hole? It should be on the tip of the canister. What style exhaust is it? You can have a shop drill a hole if you don't have one and create a silencer. However, most N1 and 5Zigen style universal mufflers have a universal silencer.

It's a Borla axleback that I got from a fellow member here. It has a 4" tip, and I'm prepare to drill a hole to install the silencer, if there is one.

If there is such thing, where would I be able to get one?

So it does not come with a hole on the bottom? If it does, that means a silencer was made for the type of muffler and can be applied with almost any 4" tip. If it doesn't, you'd have to bring it to a muffler shop or have a tool in your garage to drill a hole.

I can probably source you a 4" tip silencer at the shop for not too much or maybe someone from the board can sell you theirs. I have a 4" Apex'i N1 silencer which I still have to give to Chizzow so you can PM him asking how much he wants for it.

You can ask Deziwoo as I sold him my old N1 with the silencer.. Last time I saw his car he has another muffler on it. So give him a try?
