I've been busy with school lately, but I pulled a long day today while I was home and managed to get my swap running ('03 WRX into 96 Brighton). It fired up on the first try :D , but i did hear a few noises, the most frightening being a clunk when it hit lower RPM's.. i think it might be my weak transmission mount, but further investigation is needed. The dash is in, and the console is almost in, and it is all beautiful. This was a very very exciting day for me.
Anyways, does anyone know what that clunking sound could be?

are you using your stock tranny? did you put both push and pull throw out bearings in? that would make a weird noise.

WRX tranny, everything is from the WRX. Working on swapping the airbag sensors and seatbelts today...

Cool. I think I am shooting to set the record for the longest time spent doing the least amount of work to make a swap run  8 months and counting...

we'll see about that.. it ain't over till its over.
I'll try to get some pictures and some info posted once its all done. I ended up getting some 01 RS axles from Teague's, looks like they'll work fine.
