Hey I just installed the hydra and had a few questions that I hope you guys can help me out with. First off I got the unit pretty late on friday and hooked up the map sensor and called it a night then I had to work all day on saturday so now I am going to attempt to finnish it off.

1 what is the best way to route the wide band ? through the fire wall or through the vehicle itself.

2 did you guys have to disconnnect the front 02 sensor or can I leave it in for wright now and disconect it later?

Thanks before hand for all your help, And I cant wait to get this thing up and running.

Thanks Jeff

I ran my o2 cable through the firewall, I used the opening thats behind the intercooler.

I pulled the front 02 sensor and replaced it with a dead one so I would not ruin a perfectly good sensor.

1) I took the easiest route and went through the shifter boot. I had a TXS Tuna and routed the wires the same way.

2) If you leave the front o2 sensor connected or disconnect it, it should not matter since its not used with the Hydra.

I also just went through the shifter boot and used the factory rear 02 sensor bung. You may want to uninstall the front 02 as it will not be powered by the Element Hydra.

Thanks,

I forgot to mention that I put the WBo2 in the stock rear location. I removed the front o2 sensor and put the rear sensor in the front bung to plug the hole.
