Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that with help from VIC members, Team M45 Rallysport (Martin Chung and Christa Monasch) was able to successfully prepare for and complete the Pacific Forest Rally, our first stage event ever. For example, we were running Mike (4wheelflyer)'s old TS struts on our Impreza L. :)

We came in 13th of 23 in the regional, 2nd in our class, and 18th out of 33 overall which exceeded all our expectations as we just wanted to finish, and not finish last! Only 22 of 33 competitors finished. This was a great start and a realization of a long-standing dream.

Please take the time to check out our website at www.m45rallysport.com where you'll find products, news, bios, car prep pictures, PFR pictures, and very soon an in-car camera highlight video from PFR.

You will see the car driving around town since it's street legal, so be sure to say hi! I look forward to meeting more of you now my time isn't spent on car prep. Hopefully I can drop by the 29th meet briefly as I have to prepare for the Midnight TSD the next day.

Cheers and many thanks to the VIC community,

Martin

Congrats Martin. Good to know you found yourself a set of suspension. :)

Are you going to Kananaskis?

Nope, we'd planned just for PFR this year as the motivator to get things done in time, and at least the two BC events next year. But we'll see what we and the sponsors can come up with. Of course, we now have some rocker panel damage to take care of before our next stage event, so we'll need to find a willing body shop in the near future. :)
