hey how much would this swap cost, 02 wrx to sti block with forged internals with a 6speed tranny with par gears from http://www.xcceleration.com/ i know its been covered many times but i would like a straight answer also if anyone knows how much or where there is a thread with a price to swap the bug eye to new 2004 headlight and tails anyhelp appreciated.

Depends on what STI V# you want to go with. I am planning on doing a V7 swap to my 02 and the motor costs about 3800. From the look of the website i think they send you the par gear set, 1-6 it costs about 5k. Also you would need the tranny and to do a whole rear end conversion in order to accomidate the 6speed. The V7 engine comes with forged internals. So all together, 4k for engine + 4k tranny + 4k gear set + 2k other parts + 2k labor = 17k
