I'll try to take some wednesday...it was getting dark when I took her out....
we'll get a weighing done soon....and possibly a dyno...
The car pulls like a vintage 912 should...or perhaps it pulls like a vintage 911...If i get it dynoed, I"ll see what I'm putting down...as 912's put out 98 hp and 911's about 130 IIRC...from 2.0L in 1967....it runs great...LOUD AS CRAP from the twin supertrapps...it's great.
The car would be just SICK with a 2.5NA on the little skinny tires...we'll give impressions of the turbo car when it's done too...it's being built at the shop now...widebody '72...gonna have a wrx block...

Nice job! What tranny are you running? I've got a 69 bug that I'm trying to find an engine for, and I think a subaru would be perfect for it, i just need to figure out if a subaru tranny would work too.

subaru tranny will work in a bug, but you have to make it mid engine...or turn the tranny upside down.
otherswise get an adapter from kennedyeng.com ...mine fit perfectly...

search for porscharu...it's the easiest way...
basically, I've got a 1967 porsche with an EJ18 in it, running bone stock...it's awesome and faster than the porsche ever was....
I'm also entertaining the idea of building a subframe kit to put these motors into 911, 912 and 914 chassis...

the real hot rod is my buddy's car...it's gonna be a turboed widebody '72.
