anyone in town sell these or any other quality radar/laser detector.im intrested in the bel or escort or valentine.these seem to be the topdogs of detectors but im not sure if these brands have to be mail ordered or if any electronics stores in anchorage sell them.ive seen the cheaper models at walmart/sams and such but looking for a good one this time around.

I thought I heard that Best Buy carried them. But I'm not sure- I ordered mine online, since I don't get to ANC too often.

I highly recommend Beltronics. Excellent bang for the buck. I've had two units in two different cars over the past 5 years. Definitely have paid for themselves. When I bought mine, the Vector series (V9xx) were the top of the Beltronics line. But you don't necessarily need the fanciest unit. The Bel V945 is a lower-end vector model, but is very sensitive, with all the features you need for $140-180 online, last I looked.

yhea,i was looking for the new pro rx65.seems to be the top dog of detectors along with the escort 8500 x50.ill have to check out bestbuy when i can get to that side of town.
