There's about ten vendors listed in the sticky at the top. A lot of it depends on what year conversion you are looking for. Gruppe-S and Kingpin are known for v7 and v8 swaps while other importers like FineLine are better sources for early WRX clips...

I got my JDM motor from Gruppe-S among many other things I have purchased and have always had a very good experience with them!

I got all of my stock conversion parts, including the engine, from private sellers on these forums.

i got mine from japan star, but they just sold there last motor and wont be getting any in for awhile.
