damn, i felt like an idiot today. i was on a cruise w/ some VW friends up to Pemberton today, and coming off Knight St. Bridge, i saw a BRP '02 "incomplete" 2.5RS. i tried to wave... but the driver didn't even look at me! :( (it was around 12-ish...)

then coming home (around 10:30?), i saw a white Rex on Boundary Rd., tried waving again, but again, no wave back. :o

i'm still waiting for my friendly i-club wave... :cool:

I think it's kinda "useless" to wave at Scooby's without the i-Club sticker... but there must be people out there who're in i-Club, but just don't want to put stickers on their cars... so, maybe just wave or make eye-contact first and if they wave back, then good! But if not, don't worry about it... they aren't unfriendly; they're just not in i-Club. ;)

I saw you guys driving up to Pemberton!! I drove down from Whistler yesterday and saw lots of nice looking VW's. Are you in a Red Impreza?? I may have missed you but saw a Red Impreza much further down the road. Also saw a Ghost car chasing someone around your group (maybe not you guys but another car). Was it a nice drive??

Tora: i was in the white new age RS. and yes, the ghost car was chasing down one of ours. its really funny actually, he pulled our lead car, a red corrado over, for lack of front plate. then, as he was talking to the driver, he realized that he's missing the big fish, since all of us just wizzed by him. the PY ITR unfortunately got his attention, and he just went chasing down. took him a good 5km at least... my group was lucky, since we pulled over to wait for the red corrado, or else it could've been us. they confiscated the video cam mounted on the ITR too... weird, since they could've just took the tape instead :o . the drive was real fun. had the RS broken in right before the first passing zone, so... heh heh... got a chance to hear what the boxer 4 sounds like at higher rpms.

I think I saw the Ghost car (an Imp.....ala) while it was chasing the ITR cause it was hauling and it was still quite a ways from the ITR. I totally missed your car, my apologies. I'm guessing you didn't see me either though. (Black '98 RS with 17's.) I'm glad you are enjoying the car, will you be at the 8th meet? Maybe see you there.

i was so happy that day taking my new car for a car thinking that maybe i'm the first one to get the car in that colour at least, then there's this another ODD looking car tailing behind me on East 1st.
then i'd finally realize that's the same car i'm driving right behind me, same colour too.
we waved at each other with a very very funny smile.. hehe

tora, if you see a bright red RS, he might show up at the meet, He is a customer from Specialty. Last year's meet, he was late. From what I remembered, he live around Whislter as well.

I think it's a different one, unless he got some work done. The one I had seen in Whistler was stock. The one I saw the other day had an exhaust and looked lowered.

actually i saw a impreza today too, i saw it on bridgeboard rd at around 4, it's a silver 4 drs sedan with a t-wing on the back and a set of oz f1 cup whls on it, also it had some sticker on the front too.;)
