Well im guessing most all of you who have ordered you alcohol injection kit from Steve @ SMC have received it and installed it already. If you have any comments or suggestions on how to improve this product post them here.

ill go first then.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- maybe there could be something on the controller to cover the test button from accidentally being pressed or have it be set inside the controller like the min/max spray controls

- maybe SMC will eventually be able to convert the water spray tank in the STi to be used as a supplemental source of alcohol or have it be the actual main tank

i agree with the test button but still hasnt been a problem.use aluminum fittings like earls(holley) in blue.i know that would drive up the price but also adds some bling under hood.

I'd go for less bling, more performance. Or just less bling less money. :)

An on/off switch on the unit would be nice. That way you can run a non-alcohol map as well.

This would take you 2 seconds to install if you really wanted one...

I understand this and am capable of this. But when talking to Steve on the phone yesterday he said he would prefer that you either unplug the fuse/power lead from the fuse box or turn the spray on higher than your max boost because he said the pump pulls around 10amps and you need to make sure you find a switch that can flow enough as to not underpower the pump. I just thought it would be easier for people less in the know.

Hmm, I was wondering...

Will the alky freeze during cold winters?

Ethyl alcohol has a freezing point of -173.2 fahrenheit. So if your using 100% denatured alc, I dont see it freezing any time soon. Just ask my bottle of Jager in the freezer, he's still wet'n'cold!
