Hi guys. This is my first post and I'm new to this. So hello to everyone.
My dad's been thinking about getting the stock 2005 2.5 RS, and I've been thinking about how to convert it to an STi.
I know nothing about where to get the parts, and what parts to buy.
Also, my dad's worried about fuel consumption: gas doesn't seem cheap in toronto these days
Well, any help is appreciated from you guys... it's great being here, and thanks a million!
Just buy an STI, it's going to be much cheaper.

i was hoping that people would tell me some places in Canada, where I can shop for parts. I desperately want the RS to look like a WRX (i need a hood scoop and some souping :D). Also, is the 165-hp really sluggish and fuel-consuming? Moreover, about the sport-package... is it worth it?

more power is going to mean more fuel consumption

Buy the TS wagon.:D That'd be awesome.

onslaught: if you just want to do appearance upgrades (hood scoop, rear wing, etc) you might be able to swap with WRX and STi owners in your area.
If you want the STi power, listen to everyone else... it'd take a LOT of time and money to upgrade the RS. It'd be much cheaper just to buy the STi.
If your dad gets the RS, don't despair! They're really nice cars and fun to drive, the 165 hp is surprisingly peppy. Drive it and enjoy it :)
