Hey guys,

ive done a search and havent been able to come up with any wiring diagrams.

i am wanting to put a DCCD from a version 8 sti into my car (aussie sti version 8)

wot im chasing is any information on how to do this including wiring diagrams to hook up the automatic control.

Any one with any info would be greatly appreciated.

you will need the accompanying ecu to have the auto function work since that is where the logic is. i am not sure if you would need to add any sensors or not, i wouldnt think so but you would have to check the wiring diagrams once you find them.

yeah ill have the ecu, the speedo cluster with DCCD. but just need wiring diagrams to ensure that it all fits right.

as far as i know the only sensors for automatic function are connected to the abs. and a temperature sensor for the centre diff.


it may be a simple plug and play but i want to know for sure before i go and buy it.

I think also you need a throttle position sensor, brake sensor, G-sensor, wheel speed sensor and as you said the temp sensor and the abs sensor...

Sorry to hijack, but if you have say a v7 engine/ecu, would that properly control a v6 DCCD tranny?

i think that itll be alrite as the version 6 is the old style DCCD so it has its own computer and no automatic function .ie dont need g-sensor, wheel temp ect. i dont know how the vresion 7 speedo and version 6 one can function. the harness wont be the same so u mite have to do some wiriing.
