I'm wondering about swapping parts between motors- Cranks, rods, etc.
Take for example 1.8 put STI crank in with STI heads- can it be done? Decking the block? Has anyone done this yet?

There have been a few companies in Japan that took the crank and pistons out of the Forrester STi and put them into the Impreza STi and made it a 2.2!!!
