Ok I have a 2002 WRX which I got from a salvage auction.

We were messing with the wiring under the dash one day and found a little connector with a single wire that loops beck into itself very much like the Cobb AccessPort initialization connector.

Is it normal to be finding something like that under my dash? Or is this a strong indicator that the previous owner had an AccessPort?

That makes sense, the previous owner had installed a turbo timer, and we were down there looking for the Alarm and Keyless entry wires he clipped so we could reconnect them to program a new remote.
