I own 3 HPI nitro cars already, all in Stratus boddies ( my last car was a stratus up until 2 months ago).

Now I am looking at getting the Super Nitro Rally WRX :)

Hey.....how do you guys recommend getting started wiht R/C? The nitro's look like a lot of fun to put together....although a little expensive. Would you recommend starting out with an electric kit? Is HPI the way to go or are there other companies out there? Subaru bodies are definately a plus! :)

Thanks!

i'd start wit electric. nitro is a bit more hassle although electric can be more expensive...

hpi is a good company, i really like their rs4 line but its all up to u.

PS: if you want to see a Super in action with a 2speed tranny just ask me ill upload the video

the Super Nitro Rally ROCKS, but then again EVERYTHING hpi makes ROCKS

both the 300mm, and 200mm are out. the SN shell comes with all decalls for headlamps and grills

Tamiya makes electric RC cars with reasonably-detailed body shells (i.m.h.o., better than some other manufacturers), but I don't know if they came up with the New Impreza style yet or not.

OMFG those are sweeeeett!!!

I've been out of R/C for awhile but used to be a hardcore off-roader. Got a mad-modified RC-10 graphite sitting about 10 feet from me. It hasn't seen the light of day for quite sometime and could use some new battery packs.

What would one of these bad boys cost me? I've got a full setup for electric so would only need the car to get running.

P.S. Anyone from Cincy?

Yes, Tamiya is coming out with a new WRC car, in fact it shold be out by now. And for scale realism out of the box, Tamiya is the best, bar none. Sure you cold superdetail a car, but that's all custom work. Tamiya's stock scale fidelity just can't be beat.
Gotta fly!
