ok ok...

i know WI has been talked to death in here... and i've been reading some of the former threads about it at length today...

my question is this... looks like the aquamist systems are prefered here if you aren't going to make one of your own custom style...

so if i spare no expense... i think i would want the 2d... But how invovled is the installation of that item...

how do you link it to your fuel injectors/etc?? is it difficult to wire this thing, or is it mostly plug and play?... and how much do the installation guides aid in installing this correctly.

I have every intention of getting a dyno tune after install, but i want to install on my own... think i can handle it, but not w/out some instruction. I have wired my UTEC solenoid driver to a relay for CO2 misting...etc. But is this much more involved... wiring the FIA2 and the rest of the components to work correctly? Is there a more simple version that can just run straight from the UTEC solenoid driver and activate at 10+ psi or something? or is the 2d FIA2 with water/fuel ratio jobby worth its while over using the UTEC.

How much would the 2d cost?, where can i buy... i found it at chargedperformance.com ... but their store is 'temporarily closed' anyone else sell it around here?

please don't flame, i know i'm late to WI discussion... but i'm about ready to go for it, so just looking for some advice, direction.

have Stg4... FP18G, FMIC, STi pinks, stock 2.0, etc...

anyone w/similar setup and running WI... how are the results with it vs w/out it... 1/4 mile times, dyno figures.. thanks.

I too am very interested in this and am wondering about the same stuff. I primarily want it just to preserve the life of my overboosted engine. Will it do this?

Imagine running race gas all the time, it will cure some overboosting or knock problems.
Safety is the reason I am interested in buying one, however never seeing an install and only reading about it I too wonder how hard it will be to install, since I'm not an electric engineer.

I have this and it is about $800 for the entire kit. It is very complete though. Still waiting on the Hydra to get it all tuned

Look over in the EM& Tuning forum for water injection thread with R Lamb from Aquamist.
