Don't burn me too bad on this one but......
In regards to the accessport's stage two map:
for a stage two you need a tbe.
I was wondering if that would eliminate both cats or just the first.
>>>not sure if a primary DP would qualify for stage two.
Does it?
Thanks
I know this has probably been asked and yes i have searched!
BUT asking directly is quicker and promotes good conversation. :disco:

Ok...
A TBE replaces the factory downpipe all the way to the factory muffler, so you will be fine. One thing, though. Cobb does not list this as a requirement but I highly suggest you get rid catalytic converter in your factory uppipe by installing an aftermarket one

If i just eliminate the first cat (after the turbo!) and keep the second on would that still qualify for stage two?

yes stg 2 means removing the first cat after the turbo. You would get more hp w/o the second cat or the up-pipe cat but you can still run stg 2 if you only remove the 1st cat after the turbo. That one is the biggest restriction.

aware of the added hp with both removed
just wanted to know if that would effect the map
and yes the up pipe is long gone!
thanks

I have been running Cobb AP Stage 2/93 HWG for a couple of months now.
My setup:
Stock Airbox
Crucial Racing Thermal coated Uppipe
Crucial Racing Thermal coated downpipe with divorced wastegate
Stock Midpipe ( 3rd cat)
Stock Resonator
Stock muffler
Only thing I plan on changing in my setup is a Prodrive Cat back. The stock 3rd cat is 3 in piping and not very restrictive at all. Fact is removing one of the two, losing the stock muffler will free up your exhaust more. ;)
Hope this helps,

the stock 3rd cat is 2.5" just like the rest of the stock exhaust... and w/o it its prob another 5 - 7 whp
