Hey There,

I've got a set of these that I want to sell. I'm getting something more performance oriented and much more expensive so these must go. These are an all season performance touring tire. Size is 205/60/15. Much better than the RE92's with Toyo Quality. I really liked them in the Rain, and they are comfortable, but not suited to my rather aggressive driving style. They have around 2000 km's on them and look barely broken in, but you'll have to see them to decide. They will be available tomorrow and I want to get $300 CDN for the set (4 tires). Should pay for about 1 1/2 of my new Dunlop SP5000's ;) They are about $130 each locally plus tax making this a very good buy. I would like to sell locally, in the Lower Mainland. If you're close to me, I may even drop them off. I live in Coquitlam. Thanks All.

Firewire,

You are gonna love your dunlops :D I have have them too and I can't say enough. just remember they are high pressure tyres, not sure where you are getting them from but make sure they have inflated them correctly.

Max pressure is 51 psi
I am running 45 psi up front and 43 psi in the rear.

Have fun and pray for a rainy day! :D (but not the 8th of july)

Will do. I'm doing the TSD Rally Novice Clinic #2 on the 7th of July. Hopefully I'll see you guys there all nice and dirty the next day :)

Now, can someone Pretty Please... give these tires a good home? Maybe the family car needs tires, or you're just looking for a good deal on some decent all seasons.

Ohh... dunlops... what tire size are you getting? I wonder if you can get dunlops in 215/55/15 size. . .

I test fitted for 215/50/15's and they rubbed the strut. The 215/55/15's would definitely rub then. I'm going for the 205/55/15's.

Back to the subject...

Any offers on these tires? I'll bring them to you if you're close :)

BTW, I have the receipt. I paid $400 US for them installed. Now you know how good a deal you're getting. Come on everyone, they have to go!

Hey Firewire,

FWIW: if the Dunlops are "performance street" tires you may wish to consider using something else on the TSD Novice Rally Course - especially if they're brand new.

Don't get me wrong, you can TSD on gravel in anything, I'd just hate to see you disappointed (or frustrated) that you'd chewed up some smoking new street rubber without expecting it.

On gravel TSD's many folks use all seasons or snow tires mounted to stock steel rims. I found non-OEM 15" steel wheels for $50 each at OK Tire and mounted some used snow tires on them for gravel use. That way my stock alloy rims aren't unnecessarily subjected to the rough stuff.

Just my $0.02

Thanks Bill!

I'm thinking about doing that. I have a set of steel OEM rims here that no one seems to want. I'm thinking of maybe doing the snowtire thing on them. However, I still need to sell these very nice quality Super Touring Toyo's! Could make a good late Mother's or Father's day present...

Somebody? Anybody?

Hey Firewire,

If you still have the Toyo's for sale, speak up, I may be interested...first, you initially said these are 205/60-_15_ (as in for 15" rims) is that correct?

I'm not sure yet if I can make it to the Novice TSD Course, but I'll be at the show and shine if you want to talk more seriously about selling these things to me.

See ya,

PS I've got two different sets mounted snow tires that we could maybe arrange a partial/direct exchange...one set is studded Nokian Hakka 1's mounted on OEM rims are nearly new with < 2,000km! (great for blasts to Whistler, the interior or your favourite snow rally!)
