Will a TurboXS Unichip from an 02 WRX work on either a 04/05 WRX or Sti?

I have heard the harness will plug in, but not sure if the functions will work ie:AVCS etc

i dont think so, i was going to use a turboxs unichip on my 03 till contacted turboxs, they said they didnt make a unichip for the 03, and if i did want to use an 02, i would have to wire the sensors from the stock harness into the unichip....and i dont really want to use any other brands.....

No a unichip won't work for an STI. i think it will plug in but my guess is bad things will happen when you start it. it MAY work for an 03 WRX. get accessport or a UTEC if you want EM for your STI. the unichip is outdated, i don't know of anyone who will even flash them anymore. IMHO i think TXS just put out the unichip to have SOMETHING till the UTEC was ready.

GPMoto tunes unichip still. Call them or email, great guys and great service. They might be able to put in a map for your car. I can't think of why it wouldn't work with the right map?! Unichip isn't "bad" just there are more user-tunable options out there.

Its not the map, its the wiring.
