They look like Borla knock offs. You will get what you pay for...

They look like my borla's, but my borla's were never that shiny, so i would say a knock-off. Quality...well, thats up to you.

Rolandr12 - If you want headers that actually work, you should check out the iON/Brullen ones, TWE's or Cobb's. The TWE's bolt up to the stock location to allow you to use your stock cat converter to pass CARB.

The iON/Brullen headers are the only stainless ones of the 3 listed.

I passed smog last month with Borlas and stock cat with Stromung cat-back.

If you've seen the old dyno results for Cobb's NA pkgs with the Borla's, you'll have some good gains. I posted my results with Matt Monsoon's dyno results a while back.

I have my Borla's up for grabs also.

Keep in mind that the reason the Cobb's and TWE's are NOT stainless is from a performance standpoint. The thermal qualities of mild steel are superior to stainless for NA uses...

Ah, but not after a wintertime NY salting gets through with them... or simply through them...

Matt Monson - Our headers are stainless for several reasons: (1) To prevent corrosion and (2) It is more durable to impact etc.

If I use iON/Brullen header, I won't be able to use my apexi N1 cat back?

so how much would JUST the headers from brullen cost? and where would you get them?

iON Performance Inc

au112 - You can use your Apex-i N1 just as long as you have the mid-pipe modified with the included flange/receptical. The connection with the hi-flow cat section to the mid-pipe is considerably larger then the stock cat section, and as such, cat-backs which bolt onto this will not be able to give a proper seal if this modification is not made.

eclipse - the headers are sold only with the hi-flow cat section. We're currently having a special on the remaining 3 ->

These are topspped Headers, They don't give any number for the power improvement.

So are these good or not?
