Looking to get a V5 now and just wondering if it's worth the extra money for the OEM, i think it's $400 more? Or if I'll be fine with just the fibreglass replica.

Why not just get the bumper from www.subaruparts.com? I think it was $400 US for everything! including the fogs!!

For the front bumper, I would rather have plastic. Actually, for all parts I would rather have plastic. It's lighter and stronger :) (unless carbon fiber or some other exotic material is come commonly used :))

ok well if it's only that much i'd get the OEM from subaruparts.com. I just left them an email requesting a price quote on the parts needed so hopefully the price is that low since i'm basically paying the same price for fibreglass here.

speaking from personal experience with original top fuel bodyparts...

fiberglass chips really easily. you'll have lots of white spots if your car isn't of the same color. and one bump in a parking lot can spideweb everything :(
