If you can find a part number, PM sugar. She should be able to order one for you.

If that doesn't work, PM God. I seem to remember he thought he could get his hands on one a few months back.

Also, while you're at it, feel free to give me any spare buckets of money you have lying around that you just can't seem to find a use for.

I emailed Zero Sports a while back and they said there is reverse. I don't know where you guys get the idea that they don't have reverse in the 6 speed tranny kit.

if its just a gearset then i dont understand how they can get 6 speeds and reverse out of stock housing and linkage. i've always herd that it has no reverse and it makes sense to me

a stout gearset is currently going to run you something north of $2500 plus installation and core charges (if you kept your stock tranny). $4000-5000 could be spent.

the WRX has grabbed the attention of domestic gear providers though, so perhaps some relief is coming.

Does this mean that you can't drop the STI 6-speed into an older model RS? Any specific reasons on why this wouldn't work?

I dont know why a six speed wouldnt fit in the old body style impreza, sport compact said the new WRX has the same tranny case as the older RS and the STI body is the same as our WRX so I think it would fit but I dont know for sure.

Why is it $2.5k just for gears? I can get a new tranny for $3k from www.autocaresubaru.com .
