Can anybody look at their diagnostic port cable(obdII end) and tell me how many pins you see. If you see 5 pins, is one of the pins on far top left(Sticker Side Facing Down)? I just recieved my AP yesyerday and it wouldnt flash my ecu. After trying alternate methods of initializing, I started troubleshooting. It seems to me that there is a blue(stripped and frizzy) wire in the far top left hole(pin #9). This leads me into thinking one pin is missing. I have 4 pins.

I don't have my cable with me so I can't compare. You may want to call Cobb. My cable was bad and they had to overnight me a new one. Solved the problem.

This is my last clue of what could be wrong. If I am wrong, the ill make the phone call. But if this is the problem, its an easy fix.

I don't have a sticker on it but this is the view from the end showing the angled sides. The slash at the top I guess is a ground.
I've got 5 pins.

The 04 cables are different. There are only 4 pins on it. The wire is the remenant of the older design, I believe. Call cobb if you're having problems, tho.

Called Cobb earlier today and they quickly told me that the cable is the problem and they will ship me a new one. oh well, I guess I have to wait. I was curious about what the problem was though, seems like there is a lot of bad bad cables out there.
