just wondering which of the 2.5s have factory installed up-pipe cats. Any ? all ?

someone correct me if i am wrong, but i believe the STi is the only one without an uppipe cat.

well, if an fxt makes more power than an sti with an sti topmount and vf39 at the same boost levels I'd say the fxt doesnt have one either. (this is because the driveline loss is much greater in the sti) Just a logical guess.

FXT *does* have one, according to folks who have swapped them.

That is because of gearing.

The STi is the only 2.5L turbo that does NOT have a catted uppipe.

Ok, so as the cat deterioates will this material ruin the turbo??
