just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to install the APS rails in conjunction with the ultimate racing 785cc injectors on the USDM STi tumblers?

the fuel lines that UR provided are cracking (most likely due to the extreme weather variances that chicago has), but i would like to get something a little more stable...and the APS ones are braided SS, so i would like to put those on to complement the UR injectors, since i like the injectors and am already tuned for them.

any ideas/comments are appreciated.

I have PE800 top feeds, APS rails, APS tgv deletes, it all works fine.

So your question is will a top feed injector go into the USDM STI tgv? If so no, but you could buy my WRX tgv I have for sale and then it would work.

my question is-

the rail setup they have might be lacking.

looking at other top feed rail options. if the APS ones fit fine, i will probably spring for that setup since it appears to be a higher quality setup. (ss lines and whatnot)

i know the APS rails fit the TGV deletes...but do they fit on the stock TGV piece?

I don't know how the UR rails are built so I don't even know if the following suggestion will work. But how about just replacing the lines?

metal rail -> decreasing radius hose adapter -> hose

i suppose its possible...but might require too much effort on my part. ;)

id have to remove the intake manifold anyways...so i would rather just replace everything and it be easy for me.

The APS rails are for top feed injectors, they will not work with the stock USDM STI TGV housings are they are made for side feed rails.

Ways to overcome this are:

Buy APS TGV deletes for the WRX (what I did)

Buy WRX TGV housings since they are set-up for top feed injectors. (cough, for sale :D )
