32,000 miles, Intake, Exhaust, everything else still stock. Uses a quart every 1500 miles and I've found metal shavings in the oil the last 4 oil changes. I presume the metal is from the bearings, but at 32,000 miles? Has anyone else had similar problems?

I had an oil consumption problem , I had the dealer inspect the oil for shavings they found none. I had this done twice in the 20k's somewhere. You might want to get that checked out sooner than later.

It might not be a bad idea to get your oil analyzed. That would give you an idea of whether or not there is a problem. If something is wearing excessively, it will show up in the analysis. That will possibly give you an idea if the problem is up in the heads, or down in the bottom end of the motor. I'm an Amsoil dealer and can sell you an oil analysis kit for my cost if you'd like. Details at http://www.amsoil.com/products/g.html . I would just need to figure out the price for you (probably around $20 shipped). It's a postage paid kit, so once you take the sample, you just drop it in the mailbox. Another option would be to look in your local yellow pages. If you're in a metro area, there should be some local services available. That way you can stop by the place, and talk to them about it, and have it done right there in town.
Good luck-

Get real-- there's no need to analyze the oil. If you have consumption to that extent (and there's no external leaks), and are finding shavings at each change... guess what, it's time to schedule an appointment at the dealer for a teardown and some serious repair work.
If you have anything non-stock they might even suspect of blaming for the damage that's surely inside your engine case, better remove it now and avoid any unnecessary complications.

Yep, good point. It's under warranty, let them worry about it. Sorry, didn't catch that.

Actually this type of thing would definitely be under the 5/60 powertrain warranty. And I wouldn't advocate trying to deceive the dealer if you toasted the engine with a poorly-tuned turbo kit, I'm just saying that if you have an intake or something similarly harmless but non-stock it's best to not give them ammo for excuses.
