I just bought an '05 STi and I have a question regarding the HID headlights. Even when they are in the highest position they still seem too low for my tastes, I was wondering if anyone knows how to further adjust them to be higher. My previous car was an '03 Evo and had the same problem, I was able to adjust them to be higher then what they were set at the factory. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could probably find a way to adjust them but I'm sure other driver's heading towards you wouldn't appreciate it. That's the reason they are adjustable to begin with. If you raise them more you may not be able to adjust them far enough down as to not blind other cars coming toward you. And I'm sure you don't want them crashing into your new 05 STI because they were blinded by your headlights.

there is a height adjustment screw behind the headlight....i believe it is in your manual. I can't describe where it is off the top of my head.....but I have seen pics of it here before.....try a search for it.

Search my posts. I have answered this question several times, explaining where the horizontal and vertical adjustment screws are. I have also posted the specifications for adjustment. Mine are adjusted slightly higher than the factory settings. The lighting seems much better and I have never been flashed.
