Hey guys,

Since I figured it IS technically an electrical question I thought I would ask here.

If I take out my passenget seat, and drive around with it out, will I have airbag problems? I just dont want to start the car with it all unpluged and get an airbag in my face.

thanks,
Michael

Your airbag light will be on but nothing will deploy, this is no different than replacing your seats with non-airbag ones which many people have done. If it's for the long term, you'll need to connect a 3.3 ohm resistor to the open connector to turn off the light.
For safety purposes, it's best to disconnect the battery before unplugging the seat airbag connection. Wait for about 10 minutes after disconnecting the battery before proceeding because the airbag module retains a charge.
