oK I have searched and search in all of the technical forums and found nothing on this.

Someone asked me about a SUBARU replacement Knock Sensor that was "less" sensitive to knock because it had a thicker rubber gasket or something on it. I don't know enough about the subject and found nothing in my searches. I would like to give my buddy soime usefull information so if you guys could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Some people have put a piece of rubber or fiber washer between the knock sensor and block to help reduce the noise the knock sensor picked up. I tried both, as well as an electrical circuit that was supposed to attenuate the signal. None of them worked real good. Just stick with the stock setup.
