hey i have my car apart right now, here is the story i had to hot a bulb in and melted my harnesses so i changed the harnesses out and now my low beams are super dim but the high beams look fine, when I used a test like I have power to one of the three wires in the harness but not the other one so i am guessing I have power to the high beam and not the low beam wire. Now I am stuck I have no idea what to do next. also I have a set of hella 500 hooked up to my high beams that dont work either. I dont really know what to so if you guys could help an elactrical noob out that would be great.

You will have power to only one of the three wires, it is a common power, switched ground system. The low beam and high beam used switched grounds to turn them on.
Are the low beams dim on both sides or just one? There is an individual fuse for each side, if one blows the light on that side will appear dim.

thanks for the reply man. I got them working properly now. I had a couple wires crossed so it all works good now.
