Is their any ill effects to jacking the rear by putting a floor jack under the rear diff?

I'm talking after the many, many tire changes we in motorsports do.

i've been doing that since day one...
no issues... is a safe jacking point and cant hurt anything...

of course, i have the diff protector too so that makes a difference...

I'd suggest the all important, high-tech, Block-O-Wood in between the jack and the diff just to prevent any dings/scrapes/dents, but other than that you're good.
