Pick up is possible but we JUST sold our last set of 17X7.5 RG-Rs. We have 5 sets of the DB left and 4 sets of the gold left in 18X7.5.

+48 offset. The 18X7.5 require 12mm spacers to fit the Brembos on the STi.

We carry all BBS wheels but the only others that will fit the Subarus are the RS-GT, the RE, and the RG-F. They are all on back order for Subaru fitments right now. Thanks.

Hey Nigel,

Unfortunately, we don't have any photos of these wheels on a WRX or STi yet. I will try to get a picture of them from one of our customers. In the mean time, the Tirerack.com upgrade garage may be the best picture option. Thanks.

Still waiting for the fitment information on the 04 STI??????????????????????

These will require 12mm spacers (and hence longer studs) to work on an STi. I tried to convince BBS to make new fitments specific to the STi but they weren't going for it, surprise... I apologize for the delay and lack of a better fitment for an STi. We are working on 18X8.5 and 18X9 fitments for the STi though. They will be "special," but it will be a while before we have those wheels ready. For a similar looking wheel, the RS-GT will fit an STi in 18X8. Unfortunately, they are on national back order at the moment.

Prices on the RS-GT 18x8? And offset? Weight?

CTI-Distributing
11-23-2004, 07:22 PM
The RS-GTs are 2 piece forged wheels, pictured in diamond black but also available in silver. They weigh 20.8 lbs in the 18X8 size and fit the WRX and STi in a +40 offset. Price is $718 per wheel. Once again, these wheels are currently not in stock.

I was eyeing up the RG-Fs (16s, right?). Backordered, but I won't be ready till spring/summer anyway. Does BBS do custom finishes?? I know they come in gold and silver.......

That's correct. They list for $845. Once again, these are 2 piece forged racing wheels made by BBS; the company that makes Porsche's racing wheels (and the forged magnesium wheels for the Carerra GT), Ferrari's F1 wheels, Ducati's racing wheels, etc. They are heavier than 1 piece monoblocks but they are stronger. These are pretty much the nicest wheels you can buy.

Unfortunately, BBS does not do custom finishes but we can have them repainted or refinished for you if you'd like. Just let me know (down the line). Thanks.

With regard to the 40mm offset will the wheels/tires rub if the car is lowered on JDM STI pink springs(lowers 0.8 inches all around)? Can you guarrente it?Do you have any pics of these wheels on an STI? Thanks.

They should not rub but I cannot gaurentee anything. Modified Magazine has these wheels on their STi Project car.

Still looking for pictures of the car. If anyone knows where there are some pictures of it, please let me know. Thanks.

Also: BBS will unfortunately be raising their prices on January 1st, 2005 due to the declining rate of the US dollar against the Euro. So, if you are considering BBSs at some point in the future, please be advised. Thanks.

Geoff,a friend has a set of RG's (18x8 et49 cb56,part# RG747DBK)on his wrx sedan.I was wondering what wolud I have to do to mount them on an 04 Sti? If I need spacers how thick? Would you recommend it? Pm price.Thanks.

Hey,

Those are actually RG-Rs (same difference though...) and they're 18X7.5. The rest of your dimensions are correct. You would need 12.5mm spacers to mount them on an 04 STi. Since 12.5mm spacers are nearly impossible to find, I recommend some 15mm DRS H&R spacers. These are very light and come with longer studs. The spacers cost $119 per pair. Your fitment will be fine but you will more than likely need a mild fender roll to ensure these wheels don't rub (every car fits a little differently).
