A friend of mine wants to buy an older Impreza (95-98), and swap it with a 2002 WRX engine. Approximately how much is he looking at paying for a new engine/tranny, and all the wiring necessities? ( i just need an approximate price ).

Or, instead of trying to get a brand new one, he can get Rallispec to install a prior WRX engine and their prices are on their website (http://www.rallispec.com), looks like $8-16k.

Thats exactly what i though...:rolleyes: ... ill just tell him to get an older STi, and work from there...
