Well I assume the weight in the front is much higher than the rear because of the big difference in tire pressure suggested by the OEM. I want to know what the weight dist. is to be sure and FMI. (for MY information). :D

I'll let someone else answer the weight dist. question... all I can tell you is there's more that goes into a specified tire pressure delta than just weight distribution... there's also sidewall deflection due to weight shift while cornering, added to the front tires' need to steer, etc...

Lower pressure in the rear gives better accelerative traction, higher pressure in the front gives better response. It's a balancing act.

I hear ya. I want to get down to the why, so I can make a smarter guess as to what pressures I want in the tires. Thanks :)

Variously reported, but most seem to be around 59% front/41% rear.

Weight bias is one of several reasons for the tire pressure difference.

Depending on use (street vs. autox vs. track) I get a little more balanced handling from a slightly narrower gap in pressure front to rear, but then I'm not running stock suspension, either.
