Don't thank me yet. The rocket scientists in Denver secured the pdf so you can't search it, can't print it, and can't select and copy text from it. Very useful.

Any hackers out there who know how to strip the security from a pdf?

I'm no hacker but we have the full Adobe suite at work. I'll have a chat with the lady in Marketing and see if there is a way to edit it to open it up.

Try File -> Save As

Rename the file and in the Security drop down, select None.

Mine is printing now. So far so good.

Now, maybe I can buy my rally car tomorrow ;)

Yes I would, but that would be illegal. The SCCA has already sicced their lawyers on some poor schmuck who had the temerity to scan, OCR and make a pdf from the last rulebook. I have no doubt they would see to it I lost my web host if I posted it.

If you have full version of Acrobat you can open the file then go to File ==> Document security==> Change settings and uncheck whatever you want to undisable.
