View Full Version : Fastest 1/8 mph?
2000vfr800 11-16-2004, 09:38 AM So, I'm waiting for freebmw to get back up to post my timeslip. In the meantime, I was wondering...other than Easystreets, what's the fastest 1/8 mph?
The reason, I only got one run in on Saturday and I f'ed up my shift into fourth gear. But, my speed at the 1/8 mile was 100.04 mph.
Just curious.
This is in my non-nitrous 2002 wagon.
mikaust 11-16-2004, 10:04 AM Mine so far is a 97.42 in the 1/8. The quickest time was 7.482. I am now waiting for a new clutch setup.
BadTrip 11-16-2004, 10:43 AM Dude.....that's FREAK fast!! :disco:  :disco: :disco:
DrKicker 11-16-2004, 12:12 PM Can you list a breakdown of the runs 60', 330', 1/8th, 1/4? I'm just curious to see how quickly I would fall behind. I'm down 20mph at the 1/8th mile, so it would be interesting to see the shorter times.

My clutch is shot(ACT) I am ditching the BPM light flywheel and going back to the stock one.I am sticking with the ACT organic for I feel there is little out there in the way of heavy duty clutches other than twin disc and pucks. ACT is coming out with a sprung 6 puck I may give that a go.
ratt_finkel 11-16-2004, 12:43 PM Jeebus, I can't even come close to that trap at the end of the 1/4, lol.

Duh. You meant my scooby. Not nearly as fast as ya'll...8.2 or so.
McBain_TP 11-17-2004, 10:00 AM .... Oops, got you confused with Jack ffr1846. I thought there may be an 11-sec wagon in MA.
SinistiR 11-17-2004, 02:17 PM WOW, 100mph in the 1/8, that is F'en movin. My best 1/8 so far I think was a 7.6@93ish. Dont you just love traping higher in the 1/8th than most do in the 1/4.
burnin4 11-17-2004, 07:09 PM Any STi owners break into the 7's with stock VF39? I've run 8.06 at 84.5mph and 1.64 60ft.
SinistiR 11-17-2004, 09:32 PM 7.984@86.49 with a 1.70 60ft and a 5.101 330
7.888@86.58 with a 1.64 60ft and a 5.033 330
I know I have more but cant find the slips now. Those runs were with a stock turbo, intake, exhaust, and e-manage.l
burnin4 11-17-2004, 09:34 PM damn, that's smokin fast!
SinistiR 11-17-2004, 09:44 PM damn, that's smokin fast!

No way in hell. I'm sure its a domestic beast of some sort. That car would be trapping at least in the high 130's if it was a Scooby, and we'd all know about it. :)
V6TurboTA 11-17-2004, 10:06 PM  no
I wish.

You only gained 18 mph in the back half of the 1/4?
V6TurboTA 11-17-2004, 10:26 PM Correct.
That was with a bad bog off the line also (60' - 1.65)
