well i put a turboback exhaust on about a month ago and figured i should go to the track to see if i could beat my stock best of 13.35 @ 101...

i'm #0428...the other car was a ford diesel truck...i was like whiskey tango foxtrot?

Its nothing out of the ordinary but its a milestone for me  and i know it couldve been better but launching on RE070's w/ 17k on them isnt easy  this was at orlando speedworld (not the greatest track) w/ temps around 67 degrees. the turboback is a helix catless downpipe and an espelir cat back.

You don't get boost creep with your TBE? No EM either?

MidnightRallySTi

it doesnt creep enough to hit fuel cut...itll spike up to 17 or so for a split second when i shift into 5th or 6th at wot then the wastegate opens and brings it back down to 15...and i have no EM right now...im looking into accessport, their stage 2 looks very promising

Congrats, I'm glad to hear that. I got an STi with an Accessport, building up a turboback:) Looking forward to getting some decent times. OSW is not a very forgiving track either...nor Moroso.

Yeah, those Ford turbo diesel trucks are pretty bad. Glad he didn't run any mean boost on it, 'cuz I know those suckers can hit 12's(like mid-low)... :yikes:

I live in texas, so this does not say much.

Their is a guy around here who runs 11.68 in his diesel. One big honkin exhaust sticking straight up behind the cab(l18 wheeler style), and it scares the crap out of you when it puts the power down....

Oh and its jacked up somewhat about a foot or two, then again im not sure if it has air suspension. We texans crazy.

well now this run seems to have come at a price...it sent my clutch over the edge and is now slipping in 2nd gear or higher between 4-5k rpms...oh well, stuff happens...strange tho, only a few trips to the dragstrip and only 18k miles on it

Watch out that you don't get sucked in like me though. I told myself that when I hit 12's I was gonna be happy and just drive it on the streets knowing it's a 12 car

Didn't really work out that way though. I hit a 12.9 and the better I drove it the quicker and faster I went. 12.5@109 was were I lost the seal on the compressor side of my turbo. Now that I splurged and went for a Green I am doing 12.6's @116...damn slipping clutch

Now I wont be happy till I do a 11 sec quarter

Just be carefull...it's addictive
