Hey guys,

My security system is acting up. The security light in the dash blinks whenever the engine is off, and when I lock/unlock my car, my lights no longer flash. The car still locks and unlocks with the remote, but the lights dont' flash, and I'm not sure if the security system is actually getting activated. Anyone have any ideas?

I think you have your alarm in valet mode. In valet, the lights wont flash, the alarm siren is disabled, and the security light blinks twice as fast. to take it out, open the drivers door and hold down the unlock button on your remote.

Do you have a UTEC?

A UTEC would have nothing to do with this. It can make the Check Engine light flash but has no connection with the security light which is controlled only by the security module.
